Modular Conveyor Systems
A modular structure combining transport and process motion on one system. Motion systems can be installed as conveyor modules and customised by QDM for the application.
Discuss your modules
Motion added to transport
The conveyor can be configured with lifting, pushing, direction-changing, positioning and inter-station transfer units. QDM designs module layout, interfaces, drives and operating sequence around process requirements.
Motion-module options
Lifting and lowering
Transfer the product to a working level or another conveyor.
Pushing and diverting
Direct the product to a side conveyor or the relevant station.
Positioning and stopping
Place the product in a defined position at the process station.
Transfer and rotation
Change product orientation or the transfer arrangement between stations.
Technical configuration and customisation
| Transport modules | Belt, chain or other transfer arrangements suited to the product and process |
|---|---|
| Upper-module mounting | Mounting interfaces and support structure for motion systems |
| Motion systems | Application-specific pneumatic, electric or servo-driven units |
| Process stations | Assembly, inspection, sorting, filling or packaging modules |
| Control integration | Sensors, motion sequence, line synchronisation and operator panel |
| Layout and expansion | Module count, spacing, working height and downstream station connections |
| Customisation | QDM design according to product, process flow and site layout |
In this category, modularity refers to the architecture of transport and motion units. Belt type is selected separately for the application. The visual shows a possible module layout.
