The hose test station is developed around a specimen held inside a guarded horizontal working area. The design focuses on specimen connections, access and an operator-controlled test sequence. The test medium, pressure, acceptance method and protective measures must be defined for the actual hose and test procedure.
Define hose dimensions, fittings, connection access and specimen support.
Agree the medium, test conditions, measurement method and required result records.
Develop containment, access control and the agreed pressure-release and operating arrangements.
Materials, dimensions, operating range, output, controls and delivery scope are confirmed in the project proposal.
Use these notes to define the application before choosing the final equipment configuration.
A hose test station connects and supports a specimen while an agreed procedure is performed. Pressure holding, leak checking and destructive testing are different tasks. Pressure-decay instruments detect leakage by observing a pressure change under defined conditions; that principle does not establish the test method or pressure rating of the illustrated QDM station.
Specify the hose construction, fittings, test medium and acceptance requirement. Flexible specimens and their connection volumes should be considered when selecting a measurement method. The fixture must suit the connection and loading procedure, while containment, isolation and pressure release follow the actual test conditions. Numerical indications in a representative visualization are not equipment ratings.
The first engineering stage should define the circuit, specimen support and operator sequence together. Agree calibration or reference checks, the treatment of a failed specimen and whether results are recorded. Use the stated procedure and representative hose assemblies for acceptance. QDM can scope an R&D fixture or a production check station once these requirements and protective measures have been reviewed.
The table identifies the reference arrangement and the values to agree for your application.
| Parameter | Configuration / value | Confirm before manufacture |
|---|---|---|
| Test objective | Leak, holding or other agreed procedure | Supply the required method |
| Hose envelope | Defined length and diameter in mm | Include fittings and bend limits |
| Test medium | Application-specific gas or liquid | Confirm compatibility and handling |
| Test pressure | Specified per project in bar or kPa | Agree rated circuit and containment |
| Measurement | Selected for the procedure | Define units and acceptance limit |
| Connections | Specimen-specific fixtures | Review loading and sealing method |
| Results and release | Records and depressurisation as scoped | Define failure and unloading sequence |
These products are customizable. Configuration values and images are indicative and may change with the application. Final dimensions, components, controls and performance requirements are confirmed in the agreed project specification.

QDM supplies equipment with a standard one-year machine warranty, starting from commissioning.
Purchased components are covered under the relevant manufacturer’s warranty terms. Two-year component coverage applies where provided by the manufacturer; coverage and start dates follow those terms.
Extended warranty and maintenance agreements can be arranged for the project. Coverage, duration, service responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed in the contract.
The quotation and contract define the equipment covered, the applicable warranty terms and the agreed service arrangements.
