1 · Describe the liquid at operating conditions
Record temperature, consistency, density, foaming, particles and air entrainment alongside the product name. Two products sold under the same description may fill differently.
2 · Define fill quantity and tolerance
Specify mL, L or g per container. Distinguish a mass target from a volume target and include density where relevant. Accuracy at one fill quantity does not establish accuracy across the whole range.
3 · Use actual available production time
Separate cleaning, changeovers and planned stops from shift length. The required count during net operating time provides a starting point for cycle assessment. This calculation does not validate achievable machine output.
4 · Select the machine family
In this range, manual-handling devices are touchscreen or push-button benchtop fillers loaded by an operator. Semi-automatic options are benchtop inline and rotary systems. Fully automatic options are industrial inline and rotary lines.
5 · Review the complete line
Supply, filling, capping and labelling times affect complete-line output. Existing-line integration needs working height, container flow, signals and stop behaviour to be defined.
6 · Agree acceptance conditions early
Define trials with the actual product and container, quantity measurement, sample count, duration and expected results. Include documentation, training, delivery and support scope in the quotation.
