Agree the scope before the build.
Can an NDA be signed before technical files are shared?
Yes. An NDA can be agreed and signed before detailed technical information is exchanged. Begin with a non-confidential description so we can identify the scope.
Can we receive manufacturing drawings?
Manufacturing drawings can be provided under additional contractual conditions. The deliverables, revisions, permitted use and any rights are agreed in writing for the particular project.
Can feasibility, prototype and manufacture be separate stages?
Yes. Technical assessment and preliminary design, a functional prototype, and final equipment manufacture can be scoped and quoted separately. Each stage has agreed deliverables and review points.
How do you manage a project remotely?
We agree the review points, update frequency and communication format with you. Drawings, design views and agreed progress information support decisions before the next stage.
How is acceptance handled?
The proposal defines the functions, test conditions, acceptance criteria and documentation. Reviews can be remote, on site or documented, as agreed for the project. Shipping and any commissioning follow the quoted scope.
Can you install or commission equipment overseas?
On-site installation and commissioning can be arranged per project. The location, responsibilities, travel expenses and service scope are specified in the quotation.
Can we specify component brands or use our electronics team?
Yes. Customer-selected components are reviewed for technical suitability, availability and cost. QDM can coordinate controls specialists or scope mechanical interfaces with your electronics team.
Are spare parts and extended support available?
Spare parts can be supplied under a separate quotation. Extended warranty and maintenance agreements can also be arranged with defined coverage and service responsibilities.
Is the first discussion charged?
A short initial requirement discussion is free. Detailed engineering, feasibility work and development are scoped and quoted. Quotations normally use EUR; another currency can be agreed for the project.
How are payments, revisions and scope changes agreed?
The project proposal defines payment milestones, included revisions and release points. Requested changes are reviewed for their effect on technical scope, cost and timing before additional work is agreed.
